Well, the festivities are behind us now and it's back to work. As usual, things are a bit hectic at Mount Fabric HQ. We're working on a new live set to take out to LA with us in March, recording and mixing our next single 'Curves and Corners', as well as starting to write our third EP of the trilogy, which we hope to release this year.
We're trying to give this EP a different feel to the last (as we did after Secretly An Astronaut). We've not got any fixed ideas, but we're heading in a more proggy/live direction. We've just re-stocked with lots of new musical gear and gadgetry that'll feature in it quite heavily, so who knows where it'll end up!

So, that's 2011 over and done with. We hope you enjoyed yourselves, whatever you got up to. It's been a busy year for us - we released two EP's, gained our lovely keyboard player Liz, played at Kendal Calling and Friends Of Mine festivals, and supported some cool bands in Manchester including The Phantom Band, Paris Suit Yourself , Alt+J and Post War Years. We also had a fair bit of radio play this year, including band of the week on BBC Manchester Introducing and a track played on 6 Music for the first time.
2012 looks to be even busier - our new single "Curves and Corners" is out early next year, as well as our 3rd EP to write/record/release and our first shows in the US in Spring. Louder Than War and PRS Music Mag "M" have both put us in their "bands to watch in 2012" lists too, which is nice of them.
